FLIPKART'S "SEARCH" AND "FILTER"
Do users find the “search” and “filter” options on Flipkart useful in finding something that they would be interested in purchasing on Flipkart? Flipkart is an online shopping platform in India. Similar to amazon, Flipkart allows customers to search for items, browse through a generated display of options the user might be looking for before the user selects an item to add into a basket before proceeding to a “checkout” page that asks the user to place the order, entering a location for the item(s) to be delivered and end the transaction by paying online or choosing to pay on delivery.
I completed two sessions of interviews and observations, each of at least 45 minutes in duration, according to an interview protocol. From the interviews and observations, I created an affinity wall and compiled a report to understand what the key issues were and suggest a possible design solution.

Five of the most critical issues were then examined and a detailed report was drawn up to elaborate on the problems and provide possible design solutions that could resolve them.
